Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.

Deep Tissue (Therapeutic Massage)

Deep Tissue (therapeutic massage) is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. This technique is used to relieve both muscles and connective tissue below the surface and help to improve range of motion and heal injuries below the surface. It is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Muscle Meltdown

In this 75 minute session, feel the muscles meltdown with hot stone therapy as it helps to melt away tension, muscle stiffness, and increase circulation. Hot stones combined with Meti-Cupping will help expand blood vessels encouraging blood flow throughout the body while soothing the nervous system. 

MediCupping

This VacuTherapy can help conditions associated with Diabetes, Parkinson's, Fibromyalgia and much more. One of the most amazing aspects of this technique is that it enables water absorption and renewed blood flow to the skin tissue as well as enabling elimination of old waste and congestion. Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage (LD) Therapy uses an integration of multiple modalities that focuses on long slow strokes to help achieve relaxation and detoxification. LD therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.

Infrared Sauna Session

Add an infrared sauna session to any massage service or schedule it by itself. The benefits of a sauna session are relaxation, detoxification, pain relief, improved circulation, skin purification, and weight loss. 

Our Sauna also provides the benefits of chromotherapy, providing specific benefits depending on which color is chosen. Ask us about which color is right for you when you come for your session.

Assisted Stretching Session

With our assisted stretching, your muscles will experience immediate increase in blood flow and an easing of tension. With regular assisted stretching, muscles become more flexible, which allows for improved range of motion and helps to prevent injuries. 

Face Lift Express

The Face Lift Express helps smooth fine lines and wrinkles, relaxes and tones facial muscles and restores circulation to the skin creating a more youthful appearance. It eliminates the buildup of wastes and fluids, opens and clears drainage pathways. This treatment is cumulative so it works best one to two times per week but the number of treatments varies for each individual.

Face Lift Deluxe

The Face Lift Deluxe is a complete face lift treatment that helps to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, relaxes and tones facial muscles and restores circulation to the skin creating a more youthful appearance. It eliminates the buildup of wastes and fluids, opens and clears drainage pathways. This treatment also includes a foot massage with hot towels. 

Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage

Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage is a technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. Working with gravity instead of against it, Ashiatsu therapists are able to provide an effective therapeutic massage without causing pain or discomfort to themselves or the receiving client. 

Due to the compressive nature of this technique, extra precautions need to be made for certain client conditions. Following are conditions that would be contraindicated for receiving an ashiatsu treatment:

• Pregnancy or trying to conceive
• High blood pressure
• Recent injuries or surgeries
• Contagious skin disorders
• Compromised immune system
• Acute liver or kidney disorders
• Certain medications
• Acute auto immune disorders
• Recent surgical implants
• Advanced Diabetes

TMJ Massage

TMJ Massage is for those suffering from temporomandibular joint (TMJ) syndrome. This massage will help relieve symptoms. It is given within the client's comfort levels; therefore the therapist will stay in communication through the session to ensure the client's comfort.

Infant Massage

Infant massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically t promote the healthy development of your infant. Caring human touch is crucial for a healthy thriving baby. Massaged infants show improved growth and development of the brain and nervous system. Infant massage has also been shown to improve quality of sleep as well as strengthening their immune function.

Four Handed Massage

One of the best ways to reduce stress is through our four hand massage. It is like a normal full body massage but with two therapists working together with simultaneous, mirrored movements. It is an incredible experience that offers superior benefits to other massages. Main benefits are that the brain reacts differently compared to other massage types, more intense muscle soothing, increased relaxation, improved blood circulation, reduced stress and increased relaxation.

Sugar Scrub

A sugar scrub provides a variety of benefits. From removing dead skin helping moisturizer absorb better, to increased relaxation. A good scrub stimulates blood circulation and helps drain lymph nodes, and detoxifies your body. The skin is the largest organ in our body and a body scrub is like giving a treat to it.

Full Back Exfoliation

Salt Glow

Our salt glow is a popular body treatment. It's purpose is to exfoliate your skin, removing dead skin cells leaving pores unclogged of dirt and bacteria, encouraging the regeneration of new skin cells, leaving your skin softer and smoother. When skin is left untreated dead cells make the skin stiff and crusty. The minerals can reduce inflammation and with the mix of oils as part of our treatment it can replenish tired dry skin.

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating. This add-on service provides the use of hot stones to your back and neck for $15.00 or full body for $30.00.

Relax and Nourish Clay Wrap

This wrap includes a full-body dry brush exfoliation before the applicaiton of the nourishing clay, than wrapped like a cocoon to let it nourish your skin. 

Mud treatments can help reduce water retention, joint pain, and certain types of skin conditions.  The mud we use has kaolin clay to draw out impurities, lavender powder to cleanse, chamomile powder to calm, and rose powder to nourish your skin. 

Seaweed Wrap

The seaweed wrap hydrates and nourishing the skin while detoxifying and toning. Full-body dry brush exfoliation included to improve the benefits of the seaweed wrap. 

Detox Wrap

We use a formulation that combines the detoxifying properties of sea algae with the hydrating and exfoliating benefits of clay, ancient sea salts, brewer's yeast and spiraling to provide metabolic stimulation of the skin. Full-body dry brush exfoliation included. It hydrates the skin with minerals and enzymes, stimulates circulation, invigorates skin tissue and improves its elasticity. Excellent treatment during weight loss and cellulite treatment.

Essential Oils Wrap

Revitalize your entire body as you experience the sheer pleasure of being cocooned in a soothing blend of essential oils as your skin soaks in the rejuvenating nutrients starting off with a full-body dry brush exfoliation. This treatment is for all seasons, it is the perfect nourishment for your skin after exposure to the summer sun or winter dryness. 

Seaweed Exfoliant Foot Scrub & Foot Massage

Our seaweed exfoliant scrub relieves tired and achy feet, hydrates and nourishes the skin while detoxifying and removing dry skin combined with a relaxing foot massage and hot towels.  

Please note: the add-on to another massage session is just the foot scrub incorporated into our normal massage routine. 

Exfoliating Foot Scrub

Treat your hard working feet to some luxury of its own. Our foot scrub relieves tired and achy feet, helps to remove dry skin, soothes discomfort, improves flexibility and relaxes. 

Paraffin Wax

Paraffin Wax has been shown to treat conditions like arthritis and fibromyalgia among others. A wax treatment acts as a type of heat therapy that helps treat these conditions by increasing blood flow, relaxing muscles and reducing stiffness in joints.

Ear Candling

Ear Candling gently massages the ear drum and helps to regulate ear pressure. A small amount of ear wax is also removed during treatment. The candles work like a chimney, drawing impurities out.

CBD Oil

CBD can relieve joint and muscle pain and can be soothing to skin.

Aromatherapy

Enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy. Combining aromatherapy with your massage can improve the healing of your mind and body. It can heighten relaxation, calming the mind and emotions. Not only does aromatherapy relax but it can soothe sore joints, treat headaches and reduce pain of muscles.

Chair Massage

Chair Massage is performed in a specially designed chair with your clothes on. It is excellent for relaxation and more, depending on the technique(s) used by your massage therapist.
